RESEARCH DESIGN
This research will be using the experimental design. The experimental design will determine that in the study, the experiment will prove that the lotion from rose citronella will enable the researcher to determine the effectiveness of product as insect repellant.
This will also help the researcher determine the difference of rose citronella lotion from commercial insect repellants by cost and availability.

MATERIALS NEEDED
• Distilling Flask
• Bunsen Burner
• Empty Bottle
• Rose Leaves

PROCEDURE
1. Gather rose leaves as much as needed
2. Extract citronella from the rose leaves
3. Prepare a lotion substance
4. Mix the citronella to make the lotion

PROCEDURE FOR TESTING
The rose citronella insect repellant will be used by 15 persons for 7 days. Before sunset the samples will apply the rose citronella product. The samples should have no other insect bites before using the product and skin dermatitis. The research will then record the findings.

STATISTICAL TOOL
In order to have an accurate detail on determining the hypothesis the researcher will be using the Chi-square test method in the analysis and interpretation of data obtained.
